On March 16th, 2000 this whale was beached off the north shore of Royal Island

    Whale being coaxed back to deeper water 

Still being patiently coaxed

Ivanhoe and Will still working diligently

At last the whale seems to be responding

Beginning to move on his own

Ivanhoe and Will are now back in the boat and the whale is on his own

All alone and heading for open waters

Free at last !!
